Recap of 2017 Australian Alpaca Spectacular:

On the 26th of August, Kayla and Elisha attended the 2017 Australian Alpaca Spectacular, where they both competed in the Preliminary Paraders competition. Both the girls put in their hardest efforts, which paid off. Kayla and Elisha both received first place ribbons in the Showmanship and Stockmanship sections, Kayla received the Champion Adult title and Elisha received the Champion Senior title. Elisha also received the Supreme Champion Preliminary Parader title, these are all very big achievements for both the girls and they are both very proud of their efforts.

On another hand, Elisha and Kayla entered a few photos into the photography category of the new Alpaca Artapalooza section of the show. Kayla received the most popular photo award with over 30 votes on her 'You're Driving Me Cria-zy!' image, and Elisha received a runners up award with over 20 votes on her 'The Fos' image.

Overall a very successful and fun weekend for the girls. We would like to thank Jenny Ford from Vista Del Sud and the rest of the team for throwing an absolutely amazing National show! The result of this show proves that with hard work and effort, anything can be truly 'spectacular'.

Recap of 2017 Alexandra Alpaca Show:

Overall our small team came home with a ribbon each, Whispering Gums Paradox received a second place and Buckland Moonstone also received a second place. We are very happy with this result for the two, especially Paradox as this was his last show before being retired to the paddock.

Thanks to Marc Mullette for judging the show and to the team who put together such a fantastic environment for all the breeders. We will definitely be coming back to this show next year!!

Kayla and Elisha entered in the small Junior Handling competition and won second place and a highly commended in the 15-18 class.

First Member of our Growing Team!

Today marks the day that the Aeronwen Alpaca Stud has begun! With the purchase of our first alpaca Buckland Moonstone. We are very happy with Moonstone's conformation, fleece statistics and pedigree.

Buckland Moonstone's sire, Acacia Caribbean, has produced some outstanding cria, many of them winning at championship and supreme levels. We are very happy to now own a cria to this male as the foundation of our stud.

We are looking very forward to showing this beautiful girl and hopefully seeing what successes she could bring for us! Kayla and Elisha are very excited to begin their first official showing season, as Aeronwen Alpacas at the 2017 Berwick Show!
