About Aeronwen Alpacas
Aeronwen Alpacas (est. 2016), is a small family orientated alpaca stud administrated by Kayla Thomas and Elisha Smith. We are located in the Victorian country town of Inverleigh. Aeronwen Alpacas strives to achieve quality huacaya alpacas, and aims to produce cria of the breed standard. The stud hopes to pursue a herd of coloured alpacas, ranging from white to black and everything in-between.
Kayla and Elisha are slowly venturing into the world of fancies and appaloosa coloured alpacas and are excited to see what they can produce!
Kayla and Elisha were introduced to alpacas in 2012 and instantly developed a connection with the animals. In 2013 the family herd grew from a size of three alpacas to seven. Soon after, the alpaca stud 'Whispering Gums Alpacas' was formed, which enhanced Kayla and Elisha's love for alpacas. After showing alpacas with the stud, and experiencing the birth of their first crias, they knew that one day they wanted to pursue their dreams in having a stud of their own.
With a positive mind set and a strong passion for the beautiful animals, Kayla and Elisha's dream became reality, and they are now the proud owners of the Aeronwen Alpaca Stud.

Our Gallery is a collection of photos taken of and by Kayla and Elisha. Also included in our gallery are photos of the alpacas here on the farm and photos of our show experiences, that will constantly be added to. So keep your eye out for new photos being posted!
Our stud farm is located in Inverleigh, Victoria. We currently agist our alpacas on a farm called Bundara View, the proud home of 'Whispering Gums Alpacas'. Our farm is established across approximately 136 acres, that is the perfect home for the beautiful alpacas that we own. The plentiful grass satisfies the alpacas needs, and they are thriving.
Our small team is expanding slowly but surely and we are very excited to watch our herd grow!
We welcomed our first drop of cria late November - December 2017.
Alpaca Youth Paraders
Kayla and Elisha joined the Alpaca Youth Paraders in 2015. After competing in their first paraders competition they knew it was something they were going to pursue that would help them gain more knowledge about alpacas, whilst in a fun and welcoming environment.
